The Ascent Vector Shorts have been re-engineered with Recycled Vector and Recycled Shield Endurance fabric for a significantly reduced environmental impact. This shift has been done without sacrificing any of the compression, moisture-wicking, and durability that made these fabrics beloved.

The Ascent Vector is a traditionally-Lycra style short that boasts bluesign®-certified, recycled fabric from a small mill outside Milan, Italy. While extremely durable and comfortably compressive, the nylon/polyester fabric is also extremely wicking, which helps maintain a regulated body temperature on long rides. The Paris chamois from Italian-manufacturer Elastic Interface® offers multi-density support in a full-coverage pad that is suitable for a wide range of rider profiles. Raw-edge leg bands add to the overall clean appearance.

•Our Bluesign certified, Italian-milled Vector and Shield Endurance fabrics have been re-developed in Recycled Nylon (Vector) and Recycled Polyester (Shield Endurance) to deliver a substantial improvement of the environmental footprint of our most popular bib short.
•This switch to recycled fibers has been made while retaining all of your favorite compressive, wicking and durability features of the Vector and Shield Endurance materials.
•A fold-over, articulated waistband ensures a comfortable, perfect fit while in riding position.
•Our Paris chamois from Elastic Interface remains as star of the show, providing reliable comfort. The Paris has featured a recycled top sheet for several years.
•Raw-edge leg bands provide ample grip ensuring the bib stays put even during hard efforts and hours in the saddle.

Sizing has changed since last year

Women's Ascent Vector Shorts Black / Long / M

I purchased 2 pair of these Women's Ascent Vector Shorts, size M, last year ('23) and love them. Ordered another pair this year ('24) for a European cycling trip -- exact same shorts model & same size -- but find them bigger/looser than the other 2 pair I'm still wearing. I was constantly adjusting the chamois on a 70 mile ride, and will not be wearing them again. Highly disappointed.

Comfy Shorts

Women's Ascent Vector Shorts Black / Standard / L

Super comfortable, wore them road riding and mountain biking. Both rides they were very comfortable, but feel they have a weird roll in the inner leg. I size up in these as I always wear a Med. but Pactimo's sizing is a hit or miss for me. I think a Med. Would fit me better in these, but over all happy with them after 2 rides. I honestly can't rate performance as I have only done a few 2 hour rides in them.

Not my favorite shorts given other Pactimo options. I like these for the short length, but don't care at all for the band around the leg opening. It creates a strange bunching on the inner thighs that is not only unattractive, but slightly uncomfortable. Pactimo should make the Summit shorts in a shorter version and skip these in my opinion.
