OVERVIEW: Vertex Gloves have been rigorously tested in Colorado's frigid winter temps, and as such bear our proprietary WX-D weather defense seal. They are perfectly suited for wet cool/cold rides and temps between -6º - 4º C thanks to a weather-blocking, liner-in-shell construction. To create optimal defense against wet cold, we've used a 3-layer DWR (durable water repellent) treated shell fabric over an Aluminum lined 40g Thinsulate insulation (which reflects body heat for increased interior warmth), and a waterproof membrane that prevents moisture from reaching your hand. A synthetic palm and grippy touch points make for easy manipulation of shifters/brakes, while touchscreen compatible fingers allow phone usage without having to remove the glove. A low-profile velcro cuff offers adjustability when worn over a jacket sleeve, but is also low-profile enough to slip under most jacket cuffs if that is your preference. Reflective print across the entire backhand provides excellent visibility for short shoulder-season day rides.
