Women's Alpine Thermal Gilet

OVERVIEW: The Alpine Gilet is designed for those looking for a thermal, weather-resistant garment that will get them comfortably through long winter base miles, and who prefer the versatility of a gilet. Paired with the Alpine Thermal RT Jersey means you get the best of both worlds; weather protection and extra warmth for your core, and heat and moisture transfer through the arms so you don’t overheat on the way up a climb (and freeze on the way down). It's ideal for days where temperatures won’t eclipse 10 degrees and when you may encounter some adverse conditions such as snow, sleet and and cold road spray.

FABRICS & CONSTRUCTION: The stretchy, cozy grid fleece softshell material on all leading-edge panels of the Alpine is not only thermally efficient, but both water resistant and wind proof as well. Medium-weight Storm Fleece across the back ensures a perfect fit while also aiding temperature regulation and breathability. To further enhance the usability of this winter garment we used an environmentally sensitive C6 DWR (durable water repellent) coating on all exterior fabrics so that moisture in the form of road spray, snow and sleet merely rolls off. 

A reflective two-way zip allows for even more temperature regulation if you run hot during exertion. Three large rear pockets with a fourth zippered security pocket ensure you can stow everything you may need for a big winter ride.

• Mid-weight, brushed back, stretch-knit with DWR coating for temperature regulation on back

• Reflective two-way YKK zipper with weather flap and discrete double-sided zipper garage for neck comfort

Measuring Tips 

Chest

Using a soft measuring tape, bring the tape across your back under each arm, around the front. For women, measure the widest point of the bust. For men, measure around the largest part of your chest.

Waist

Bend to one side to find natural indentation in torso. This is your natural waist. Run tape around waistline, keeping tape parallel with floor. 

Hip

Stand on a level surface with feet together. Measure around fullest part of hips and bottom (approximately 7" - 9" below waistline), keeping tape parallel with floor.
