Employee Recommendations

Here's some of the garments we love!

Tony
Alpine Thermal RT Jersey

"Thankfully, I have two Alpine Thermal Jerseys, because I wear one every single day when I commute from October thru April. I love the way it keeps you warm but retains breathability, the reflective panels and the zippered pocket. When it gets really cold, like in the low 30's, I add a Breckenridge Vest and I'm plenty warm."

Alpine Thermal Tights

"After training in the cold, wet and windy weather for a few years I had more or less resorted to training indoors, the thought of the elements…er no thanks. Then I tried Pactimo’s Womens Alpine Tights. Being a stickler for my Summit Raptor Bib Shorts the tights were perfect to put on over the shorts. The fit, feel, warmth…but not too warm…made for my appetite to get out and face the music! Love them. The reflective material and contours make for a super flattering pair of tights. Can’t recommend more highly."

Josh
Summit Aero RT Jersey

"This jersey fits perfectly! This is my go-to jersey all summer long. It’s lightweight, very breathable and has plenty of storage room for those all day summer adventures. I prefer the RT version for the safety. There are plenty of days where my rides carry past sunset and I find myself racing the light back home. It is comforting to know that I am that much more visible to motorists!"
- Josh, Brand Manager

Joe, Custom Sales
Ascent Vector Bibs

"I have raced a full season in the Ascent Vector bibs and I have to say I couldn't be happier. The seaming makes for an unbelievably comfortable fit (I'm 6'3" and wear a medium), the Flash technology in the fabric pulls moisture away from your body, keeping you cool, and the wide leg bands not only stay in place, they're comfy too. I have a couple pair in the team design (CS Velo) and they're always in rotation for training and racing."

Brent
Summit Stratos Bibs

"I wore Stratos Bibs during the 82 mile Copper Triangle which has 3 challenging climbs with a total elevation gain of 6,000 ft. The performance level of these bibs is amazing! They allowed me to enjoy this breathtaking ride without any discomfort at all. My new favorite bibs!"
- Brent, Operations Manager

Chris, CFO
Alpine Thermal Cap

"This is a great cap for a cool weather ride.  You probably know the misery of riding when your head and ears are freezing – this cap makes all the difference.  It is comfortable and does the important job of keeping your head warm, which for me keeps me on the bike when I might otherwise say, 'it’s too cold.'"
- Chris, CFO

David
Summit Raptor 2.0 Bibs

"It’s hard to pull a favorite from among so many solid choices, but the Summit Raptor bib shorts are such a dependable piece, I recommend them to almost everyone I talk to. It doesn’t matter if it’s a quick lunch ride with the office or a 100 mile MTB race, the comfort, construction and chamois of this short cannot be beat. There are times when it makes sense to be frugal in your choices, but for me, this isn’t one of them."
- David, Customer Service Manager

David
Apex MTB Shorts

"The crew I run with on the mountain bike are not the kind to appreciate the benefit of shaved legs and race kit, but they forgive me when I show up in the Apex. More importantly, though, this short flat out performs. With a comfortable fit that doesn’t get in the way of my saddle on the steep stuff, the Apex Mountain Bike Short is a perfect blend of performance and style. It’s comfortable, breathable, and looks as good on the bike as it does at the post-ride watering hole."
- David, Customer Service Manager

Josh
Flagstaff RT Jacket

"The Flagstaff RT Jacket is the perfect companion for high altitude riding during the summer and the shoulder seasons. The wind and water resistant front fabric keeps you warm and dry. I love how the mesh back breaths when I am climbing and my body starts to heat up. One of the best parts of the Flagstaff is the RT band that runs all the way around the jacket. It makes you that much more confident of being seen as the sun sets!"
- Josh, Brand Manager

Joe, Custom Sales
Ascent Air 2.0 Jersey

"My go-to jersey when things heat up in the summer months is the Ascent Air. It's really stretchy, lightweight and super breathable. The mesh side and rear panels make it perfect for hot days or long climbs. I have a one in my team's colors (CS Velo) that I use on brutal training rides and I'm never disappointed in how well it performs."

Chris, CFO
Breckenridge WX-D Jacket

"I love this jacket for those days when it is in the 40’s or 50’s.  I’ve ridden it up to Echo Lake over Squaw Pass on a cool autumn Colorado day as well as for local rides when I wasn’t sure if it was going to be 'too cold.'  The jacket provides great warmth as well as wind protection – a must-have if you plan to do cool weather cycling!"

Alpine Thermal RT Jersey

"I am convinced the very best thing we manufacture is the Alpine Thermal Jersey! It's not just clean on, but wonderfully warm with its high collar and long cuffs that close up perfectly with your gloves. I also love the reflective panels for added safety in waning light."
- Mandy, Custom Sales - UK

Tony
Storm Hybrid Jacket

"I wore the Storm Jacket for the 2016 Copper Triangle, and boy was I happy I made that decision. It rained for 13 solid miles out of the 82 mile total! And when it's raining and you're climbing or descending at 11,000 feet, it's about to be a miserable day! But the Storm was great. It's really breathable, so you don't overheat, and it does a super job keeping you dry and warm."
